 Stafford 2019-2020 Basketball Season Information:

Stafford Youth Recreational Basketball is pleased to announce our 2019-2020 season. The season consists of 3 programs:

The Stafford Fall Basketball Program:

This 3-week Saturday program is being offered at no charge beginning Saturday, October 5th, 2019.  The intent is to get the kids ready for the winter Travel and Recreational Basketball seasons. The kids will have a good time whether this is their first time playing or they've been playing for years.

The Stafford Recreational Basketball Program:

This is the standard winter recreation program for kids age 6-13.  Cost is  $50 for 6 year olds and $80 for all other ages.  6 year olds are one day a week and practice/scrimmage Saturday mornings.  All other ages practice one a week and have games on Saturdays.

The Stafford Travel Basketball Program:

This is the travel basketball for boys and girls in 4th to 8th grade.  Cost is  $150.  Two practices during the week and one on Saturdays until season starts 1st week of December.  Once game season starts two practices during week and games on weekends - Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We are a member of the NCC Travel Basketball League whose towns are North Central Connecticut (Connecticut River Valley Primarily). The season consists of 16 games, 8 home and 8 away, with playoffs the first weekend of March. This is a competitive league and has an “A” division and a “B” division.


Travel players can play recreation basketball for free. Families with 3 or more siblings on a travel team only need to pay for 2 of the kids.
